Prof Kevin Behrens is the Director of the Steve Biko Centre for Bioethics at the University of the Witwatersrand, and more specifically a Professor of Bioethics. His qualifications include a BA, MAand D.Litt. et Phil in practical and applied ethics.

He lectures locally and internationally on various subjects relating to ethics and bioethics specifically, and is published in multiple peer-reviewed journals;
Prof. Kevin Behrens Committee Member. Kevin is a Board member of the International Association of Bioethics. He previously served on the Research Ethics Committee of the South African Council for Scientific and Industrial Research and as Editorin-Chief of the African Journal of Business Ethics. He has also been a clinical bioethics consultant to the Lenmed Hospital Group since 2020.
