Val Beaumont Committee Member and has been awarded Fellowship of the Pharmaceutical Society SA, is a past member of the South African Pharmacy Council and founder of the accredited healthcare training organisation, Health Science Academy (Pty) Ltd. She is a former Executive director of Innovative Medicines South Africa (IMSA), and her qualifications include a B.Pharm, M. Pharm and MSc. Med (Bioethics and Health Law).
